Community Consultation

Gold Coast Airport values the strong and open relationships it holds with the surrounding communities. The airport has a long history of consultation and is committed to ongoing valuable community engagement.

Consultative Communities

Gold Coast Airport Community Aviation Consultation Group

Gold Coast Airport has a well-established Community Aviation Consultation Group (CACG), which acts as the primary community forum to discuss airport-related activities. The CACG, which meets quarterly, is used to exchange information, provide feedback and promote valuable dialogue on aspects relating to airport operations and their impacts.

Local, state and federal government, as well as airlines, Federal Police and other airport stakeholders are invited to the CACG to meet with community members to better understand their concerns and to provide information. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is also notified of the community forums.
