A group of six people wearing high-visibility vests and work uniforms stand near the edge of a calm body of water, looking out over the landscape. One person in an orange and navy work shirt points towards the distance, while the others observe. The setting includes lush green trees, mangroves, and a partly cloudy sky

Tenant Environmental Management

Incident Management

All airport operators have a general duty to avoid pollution. Guidelines for responding to spills from airport operator activities have been developed to:

  1. Enable a consistent response by trained responders,
  2. Minimise potential environmental impacts caused by spills; and
  3. Facilitate fulfilling legislative obligations.

Management of Construction and Development

Approval of new developments at Gold Coast Airport is undertaken via the Airport Building Control process.
