" Our Miss 5 has done a lot of travelling, I think the best tip I can give anyone about flying with kids is - use the time flying as quality one on one time - forget your movie or book, spend the time talking, colouring in, playing eye spy, watching a childs movie with them, talking about where we are going and have a book with photos showing what we will be doing or just let them decide what game they would like to play. You will enjoy the time just as much as they do." - The Longs

" Prepare a “pass the parcel” package, with one small item in each layer for each child – they can unwrap one layer each time period, say 15 minutes. Choose items that are small, unique and will occupy them for some of that time, such as a new book, a colouring book, a novelty nose, a lollipop, a small photo album or a juice box." - Kylie
