Snow Holidays

The days are getting shorter, fog lines the streets in the mornings and there is a distinct chill in the air. For some, the onset of colder weather means the end of beach days and afternoon barbecues, but for many others it means one thing: Snow. And if you haven't planned your snow escape for this year, there's still time, as many of New Zealand's and Australia's snowfields remain open from June up until early October. If mid-year is not ideal for you and you'd prefer to escape the hot summer, try Japan's snow season from December to March.
